Well our time in Bangkok is coming to an end. We arrived on Saturday evening, checked in to our hotel, had a kip and then met Cee's brother John who works in Bangkok. He took us for dinner to a Thai restaurant which was mighty tasty! We then got dragged to a few bars and several Long Island's later we staggered home to our hotel.
We got up Sunday and got a tuk-tuk (a crazy moped taxi thing-in the picture-driven by even crazier Thais!) to our new hotel where we had a back-breaking, muscle stretching Thai massage-certainly not for the faint hearted. We are both feeling the effects today (or maybe that's just the beer??). We met our trek group yesterday evening and headed for dinner...again and after that we sampled a few more Thai beers. I think it's important we immerse ourselves in the culture!! One thing that has stood out has been the varying aromas in Bangkok. These range from food to people to sewers to God knows what!!! It can be slightly nauseating the morning after a few beers.
We leave this evening on an overnight bus (the trains are cancelled because of the protests) to Khao Sok National Park where we hope to do an elephant ride and perhaps try a few more beers....
To be continued....

Margit you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. I know there is a creator, you on the other hand can't drvipose there is not. Therefor your anxiety grows because you know in your heart that YOU are not guaranteed tomorrow. What if should be your question? Mormons believe we are gods, new age believe we are gods and so many satanic cults including George bush's cult skull and bones but Christians know we are created by the one and only God!
