Evening all! We are sitting in our hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi. It has been a pretty hectic few days. We left Bangkok on Sunday and got an overnight bus (the trains were still cancelled because of the protests) headed for Surat Thani-a short hop at ten hours!! The bus stopped around midnight at what seemed like the middle of nowhere. There was food on offer but despite my aching hunger I was not quite convinced to eat tiny smelly fish things, pork 'fluffings', raw-ish chicken and sausage of some sort. Rice it was! We arrived in Surat Thani at 6ish in the morning and had breakfast in a roadside cafe. We then had to get a Song Tau (we will post pictures when we can find a computer fast enough!!) for a further two hours getting soaked in the process.
We got to Khao Sok National Park and found our lodge which was fantastic-right in the middle of the rainforest. Not surprisingly though it rained for most of our time there what with it being the rainforest!! We did manage to squeeze in an elephant ride, tubing down a river and swimming in a waterfall plunge pool. Beautiful place!
We left our lodge on Thursday morning and travelled the short distance to Krabi, a lovely seaside town...very much like Portstewart without Morelli's or the blowhole. Only joking!! We did an 'amazing' horse trek on the beach on Thursday...by 'amazing' you can translate that as pants. It consisted of some mangy horses, uninterested guides and a bar with no drink!! Yesterday was the highlight of the trip when we took a speedboat trip around the Phi Phi Islands (where they filmed 'The Beach' and James Bond-photos to come). We jumped off the boat, swam and snorkelled with Nemo. Absolute Paradise.
Today we lazed and shopped and we are just about to go to the bar to watch the Premiership football!!! Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!

Stheffany Sep20Pal Really stunning cooitcelln. I saw the Ana Sekularac SS08 pictures on vogue.com and her website and was in awe. Its refreshing to see such strong silhouettes and shapes and such a dramatic combination of colours and craftmansship. Loving the the powerful shoulders and sleeve details but then juxtaposed with the feminine structured bows. Already it seems that at Ana sekularac they have managed to create a signature look which is somehow unique yet completely in keeping with the current zeitgeist. This really is what strong feminine women who are in the know need to be wearing. Power dressing is due back and AnaSekularac is at the helm!
