Hey Everyone!
So last night, we met up with everyone at the pub in Jesus College. Before a lot of people got there, we played some life-size Jenga with huge blocks of wood. It was a great time..and I didn't lose, although I was close. We hung out there for a while and then decided to keep it going after it closed. We all walked towards the main part of town to this one club, but it was closed. After that, we headed down the road to a club called Mood. When we got there, we were the only ones there...but fortunately there were a lot of us. Basically...Nebraska took over the place. It was so much fun! They played a lot of fun songs and I didn't sit down all night. I love dancing with everyone because we are just really goofy. Later on in the night, Grease came on and we split the room into 2..boys on one side..girls on the other and sang. I don't think most of the guys wanted to admit they really did it and enjoyed it, today...but they did. :) We all did a lot of spinning around and I always made the guys spin too. When they didn't want to, I would push them in the right direction to make sure they did...haha :) It was fun! When it got down to about 9 of us, we decided we should start heading back. When we walked up the stairs to leave, it was pouring! Luckily, we were just going home so it didn't matter. We were all soaking wet when we got back though. When we got back, we hung out in Megan's room for a while and eventually I went to bed around 3:30am.
It was rough getting up this morning, but it wasn't anything that I hadn't done before. Class was fine today....the AC worked, so that was extremely nice. It was a little bit cooler today and there was a breeze, which was great. For lunch, a few of us decided to go to a place called "The Mission," which is a mom and pop place that is an exact rip off of Chipotle. They have the same burritos, same way of serving, same advertisements (down to the font) and even the same exact menu board! A couple girls took pictures said they were going to turn the place into Chipotle and demand free Chipotle for life, haha. It wasn't as good as Chipotle, but it was pretty good. After lunch, I was so tired, but I needed to top off my phone and get a new pair of flats to wear with my dress. Megan, Steph and I went into the covered market that is right next to Jesus College to look for big hats to wear to the horse races tomorrow. The covered market was so cool! They had a bunch of cute shops and food places. I am definitely going to hit up that place more often. They found hats, but because they were so expensive, they decided not to get any. After that, we all went to the mobile phone store to get some more minutes for our phones and for Megan to get a new phone plan. After I got my minutes, I left and went to some shops to look for shoes. I was not in the mood to shop, so I was happy when I found the pair I wanted in the second store that I looked at. I found a cute pair of navy blue flats from The Office...a London shoe company. I have been wearing them around to try and break them in, but I don't know if they fit right or not. I might be taking them back tomorrow, but I hope not!
Anyways, after I got my shoes, I came back to my room and took a 2 hour nap. When I woke up, it was so hard for me to actually wake up so I went back to sleep for another half hour. It was some much needed sleep, so I was pleased with the fact that I slept for that long. Normally, I would feel like I should be doing something productive, but not today. When I woke up, I took a shower and got ready for dinner. Dinner was just okay tonight. I think a lot of people must have went out because there weren't a whole lot of people there. Tonight they are arranging beer pong in the pub downstairs, so that should be fun. I am going to try and take it a little easier tonight because we are dressing up and going to the Kempton Park horse races tomorrow afternoon! Anyways, hopefully I will have some funny stories to tell soon.
Love and miss you all!
