Last Day! Hope and I talked about today's activities and I'm like, "nah, no ma'am." I wasn't going to even pretend I was interested in trying out the Micheal Jackson's Thriller Dance Class, Adult Dodgeball nor Tequila Tasting.
Hope was putzing. I headed up to breakfast. When the elevator arrived, Erma and GiGi were in it, on their way up to the Windjammer. We headed up and searched for a table. we found one and while the bus person was cleaning it off, a woman came from nowhere and claimed the table, but we just moved on.
Gigi waited while Erma and I headed to find some breakfast. I just love their coffee. Not too strong, not too weak.
We ate and talked for about 2 hours. We parted and I decided to take a few more photos at the SeaPlex. It's just amazing that all this stuff is on a BOAT!
I retreated back to my spot and Hope arrived with more bags. She is a true shopaholic.
We watched a few of the ship's game shows on the TV and laughed. My favorite was the Newlywed and Not So Newlywed Game. Of course, the couple who'd been married almost 60 They were quite cute. One question posed to the wives, for the guys, was, "what is the sexiest piece of clothing your wife brought on this trip?" The older lady kinda smiled and blushed and said, "my new bathing suit." When the husband had to answer, he said, "The Black Bathing Suit." Abe (cruise director) asked the husband, "It's kinda hot, eh?" The husband smiled ear-to-ear and shook the cruise director's hand. It was quite funny. The wife was just blushing all over the place. All I could say was, "You go gurl."
Hope and I headed back up to the Scooner Bar, for the Battle of the Sexes Decider Games.
After all of that, yep, you guessed it. It's time to eat again. Truly happy it was a no frills night, but tonight was gratuity night. We'd already had our tips removed from our tabs, so that we could give the monies to the folks we wanted to. We'd left Keith (cabin steward - now called stateroom attendant) his tips on our beds and headed up to the dining room.
After dinner we gave Ramil (our waiter) his tips and tons of hugs. He asked if we'd give him a great rating, when we recieve the email survey. He also asked if we'd give Djuro (bus boy) a great rating also. He stated that he'd done very well with regular dining and he'd just be upgraded to the dynamic dining rooms. We change restaurants every night, but have the same waiter and bus boy. It's a pretty cool concept.
I left Hope, to head back and finish up my packing. Sorting through stuff I was going to take and stuff I was going to leave.
By then, I was sleepy and wanted to just crawl into bed. Hope arrived and we got our stuff packed and out into the hallway.
It was truly a great trip, though I'd passed this way before (with the exception of Haiti and St. Kitts), it was really a great trip.
I hope you all will join us on our next journey.
